Once a filing is submitted, it moves through a structured review process before becoming part of the archive. Here is what happens, how long it typically takes, and how you will be notified along the way.

The Review Timeline

Every filing passes through the same structured stages, in the same order, whether it is straightforward or complex.

Filing Received

Immediate

Your submission, including subject details, category, location, and any attached evidence, is logged as a new docket and assigned a reference number.

AI Integrity Review

Within minutes

Automated checks scan the filing for profanity, threats, doxxing risk, and missing required fields, and flag anything that needs a closer look before it proceeds.

Evidence Verification

1-2 business days

Attached photographs, messages, documents, and other materials are checked for basic integrity and connected permanently to the docket record.

Subject Notification

After verification clears

If the subject holds or creates a Subscriber ID, they are privately notified that a filing referencing them exists and informed of their right to respond.

Rebuttal Window

14-day open window

The subject may submit a protected rebuttal with context, correction, or supporting material at any point during this window, which is permanently linked to the original filing.

Moderation Decision

3-5 business days after window closes

A moderator reviews the completed record, including any rebuttal, and determines whether the docket meets platform guidelines for publication.

Record Published

Upon approval

The docket, with any rebuttal attached, becomes searchable in Archive Scan. It can still be updated, appealed, or flagged for takedown afterward.

How You'll Be Notified

Every update to a docket is delivered privately through your Subscriber ID, never through a public post, so both filers and subjects stay informed without exposing personal contact information.

Private Subscriber Messages

Status changes, rebuttal activity, and moderation notices arrive as private messages tied to your Subscriber ID, not your email address.

Docket Status Badges

Each docket displays a visible status such as Under Review, Rebuttal Open, or Published, so anyone with the link can see where it stands.

Watchlist Alerts

If you are following a docket, category, or search through Watchlists, you receive a notification the moment its status changes.

Escalation Notices

If a filing is flagged, appealed, or subject to a takedown request, both parties are notified of the escalation and its outcome.

Timelines are typical ranges, not guarantees. Filings involving disputed evidence, active appeals, or legal requests may take longer to resolve.
