How to Appeal a Moderation Decision
If a subscriber disagrees with a moderation outcome — a takedown, a restriction, a rejected rebuttal, or an evidence removal — ChirpNTell provides a structured path to request an independent review of that decision.
Request a Review
The subscriber submits an appeal referencing the docket, filing, rebuttal, or evidence item affected by the decision, along with the reason the decision is being contested.
Submit a Written Statement
The subscriber explains, in their own words, why the original moderation action was mistaken, incomplete, or based on missing context, and may attach additional supporting material.
Independent Re-Examination
A reviewer who was not involved in the original decision re-examines the docket, the original evidence, the moderation notice, and the new appeal statement together.
Escalation When Needed
Appeals involving legal requests, repeated disputes, or sensitive categories are escalated to a senior administrator for closer examination before a decision is finalized.
Final Determination
The subscriber receives a written outcome by Subscriber ID explaining whether the original decision was upheld, modified, or reversed, and the reasoning behind that outcome.
Appeal decisions are recorded in the record's audit history and are treated as final within the platform. Appeals address how a filing, rebuttal, or piece of evidence was moderated on ChirpNTell — they do not constitute a legal proceeding and do not replace a court, regulator, or law enforcement review.
